This is a great opportunity to give you some background on who we are, what our team does, and what the site has to offer.
It really is simple. Mark retired from a busy business career 5 years ago and started painting. He would be the first one to say his early works were amateurish but never one to be beaten he kept going, kept learning and slowly his art improved. It improved to a stage where friends started to ask him to produce works for him. Dog portraits, landscapes, abstracts. They started as gifts and memorial art all produced for free at first but then economics took over. Art materials are expensive so Marco decided to charge a small fee to cover his costs. It was always supposed to be a hobby.
Unfortunately that's not how he is made !!! The comments and constant encouragement gave him the confidence to start a web site. Art-Marco was conceived to catalogue his development as well as sharing his increasing skill and knowledge on the subject. The Eyecon Gallery is the next step along the way where Mark wants to give artists like himself the opportunity to show their work at a cost they can afford.
